Game Dev Iterative Design C# UnityThis project is a VR learning game developed in Unity for the Oculus Quest, designed as a supplement to high school physics education - specifically the topic of electrical theory. Rather than replacing classroom instruction, the goal was to give students a hands-on way to apply and practice concepts like Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's Laws, and electrical components in an engaging and immersive environment. The game is set on a space station where the player takes on the role of a new engineer whose ship has suffered a critical system failure. Guided by a retired - and somewhat forgetful - engineer over radio, the player must navigate the station and repair a series of faulty electrical circuits by identifying and placing the correct components under a time limit. Mistakes cost additional time, creating meaningful stakes without making the experience punishing. All 3D models were built from scratch in Blender, with deliberate design choices made to reduce cybersickness through simplified geometry and controlled player movement speed. The project followed a user-centered, iterative development process with multiple rounds of lo-fi and hi-fi prototype testing, using feedback to refine controls, circuit interaction, and player guidance.
