Game Dev Iterative Design C# Unity

Piñata Basher is a 2D game developed under the theme of 'Conflict' during the first semester at SDU. The project focused on creating an engaging gameplay experience through an iterative development process, with an emphasis on balancing difficulty and player feedback. Throughout the project, we worked with C# in Unity to implement game mechanics, gameplay systems, and player feedback. A key part of the process involved collecting empirical data from user testing sessions, which were continuously used to refine the game's feel and 'juice' - ensuring the experience felt fun and fair, which was our core design goal. The result is a small but complete game that demonstrates fundamental game design principles and the ability to take a technical project from initial concept through to a testable prototype.
